HAS HIS TIME COME?

Greetings in the Name of our Lord, Jesus Christ! We are certainly living in very interesting times. This post is a little longer than usual, but I hope you will take the time needed to read it. I will just say “Thank you!” and pray the Lord will use it to bring glory to Him!

HOW CLOSE ARE WE?

During the ministry of the Lord Jesus, he occasionally said to those around him that his time or hour “has not yet come” (John 2:4; 7:6). Eventually the time came when he would declare, “The hour has come that the Son of Man should be glorified” (John 12:23). Jesus was showing us that God has “a time for every purpose under heaven” (Ecclesiastes 3:1). God had a purpose for the first coming of Jesus, to make it possible for all men to be saved (John 3:16-17). And He also has a purpose for His promised return. James wrote, “Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand” (James 5:8). If James wrote that over 1900 years ago, how much closer is the time of His coming today? Let’s take a look.

In 1948, Israel became a nation once again after being scattered to many places in the world and returning to the land God had given to Abraham and his descendants forever. Since that time, the Islamic nations in the Middle East have been trying to eliminate Israel and the Jews from existence. Constant threats and attacks toward Israel have been regular items on the menu. For almost 78 years the Jews have been waiting to say they were living “safely” in their own land. On February 28, 2026, that wait may have taken a giant step toward completion. One of the biggest threats to peace for the people of Israel may have been greatly reduced with the recent attacks on Iran and the results that could follow. However, there could be more to this than what appears on the surface.

WHAT’S GOING ON?

Over the last decade or so, there have been numerous people that have been reporting on how many of the events that have been happening in the world are pointing to the promised return of our coming King, the Lord Jesus Christ. This has actually been going on since the 1970s and 80s from Bible prophecy teachers in their time and even before that. Many are now with the Lord. I mention that because if they were here to see what is happening today, they would all be sounding the alarm just like the many “watchmen” we see doing now.

So what have these watchmen, past and present, been telling the world?

For over 40 years I have watched the prophetic indicators pointing to the coming rapture and the return of Jesus Christ we see in God’s word. There have been some very exciting events and biblical signs that have taken place during those years. But nothing has even come close to the things that are happening on the world stage today, many of which were recorded in the pages of the scriptures thousands of years ago. We are truly seeing Bible prophecy unfolding in our world today.

What we see happening right now with the nations of the Middle East and Israel was written down long ago by God in His word. And it’s all coming together to bring about the greatest event the world will ever see: The return of Jesus to the earth, bringing true and everlasting peace to the world. But before that event happens, there will be a time of trial that God has told us will take place. The Bible calls it the “time of Jacob’s trouble” (Jeremiah 30:7). Many know it as the Day of the Lord, the time of tribulation, or God’s wrath that we see in the book of Revelation and many other books of the Bible.

But what people may not realize is that when that day comes, it won’t start off as a time of “trouble” or “tribulation.” It will begin with a short time of peace. But it will be a false peace. And what is happening in Iran may be a key piece of the picture. One of the reasons Iran was attacked is that the radical Islamic regime in power is a threat to the “global peace” that the newly formed Board of Peace wants to bring about. That threat to peace, especially for Israel, has to be neutralized in order for the prophecy found in Ezekiel 38:8 to take place. It tells us that in the latter days, Israel will be gathered from the nations to “dwell safely” in their land. As I mentioned earlier, Israel has been waiting 78 years for the day when they can feel safe living in their land and not be threatened by constant attacks. Because of the events that are happening in Middle East and Iran right now, that day may be on the horizon for Israel.

Also, the familiar prophecy by Daniel in chapter 9:27 talks about how someone will come on the scene and “confirm a covenant with many” for seven years that will directly affect what happens in Israel. The signing of this covenant, at the start, may bring the hope of peace for Israel, but it will ultimately usher in the time of tribulation for them and the whole world. And in the middle of this seven-year “covenant” with Israel, the person who confirmed it will break it and bring about the “Abomination of Desolation” that Jesus warned about in Matthew 24:15 when he spoke about the coming Tribulation. That person is known as the Antichrist, and he will sit in the Jewish temple that is to be rebuilt (2 Thessalonians 2:4).

WHEN THEY SAY “PEACE AND SAFETY”

This short time of “peace” can also be seen in the rider on the white horse in Revelation 6:2 when the very first seal judgment is opened by the Lord. After this time of “peace and safety” (1 Thessalonians 5:3), war breaks out, and peace is taken from the earth when the second seal is opened and the rider on the red horse appears (Revelation 6:4). This happens at the very beginning of the Tribulation and the time of Jacob’s trouble. And the stage is being set for this right now.

I won’t go into what all takes place during this “time of Jacob’s trouble,” but I hope you will listen to how Jesus describes it in Matthew 24:21-22. “For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved, but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.” At the end of this time of tribulation, Jesus will come and establish His everlasting kingdom as the King of kings, Lord of lords, and the true Prince of Peace.

IS THIS ALL TRUE?

I know that there are many people who think that the actual physical return of Jesus and all the talk that goes with it are, to them, just a bunch of nonsense. Not to mention any talk about a fantastic “rapture” event that will remove all true born-again believers in Jesus prior to that 7-year time of “tribulation” that will follow. But just because they may not believe it doesn’t mean it won’t happen. In fact, God’s word declares, “Let God be true, and every man a liar” (Romans 3:4).

Ultimately God will prove His word to be true, just as He has in the past. That’s one reason why He has recorded it for us in advance! To show us He is always true to what He said. In fact, in recent months, He has been showing the world that the time for the fulfillment of His promised coming may be very near. I will point out some of those things in a moment, but there is a question that I want to ask before I do.

Regardless of when the day comes for the Lord to return, no matter who you are, where you live, what your age is, or how your life has gone, when this chapter in His-story is complete, do you know for sure where you will spend eternity? God has made it possible for you to spend it with Him AND to know it for sure! I will come back to this.

WHY ARE THINGS DIFFERENT NOW?

So what are some of the things God has been showing us over recent years? And why should we have a good reason to believe the return of Jesus for His church is possibly coming soon?

Number one: The Rebirth of Israel. Here’s a very brief history lesson for those who may not be aware of it. In 70 A.D., the Romans destroyed the Jewish temple in Jerusalem, just as Jesus foretold in Matthew 24. This caused the Jews to flee the land of Israel. The Romans later renamed the land “Palestine” after the enemies of the Jews, the Philistines, as a mockery and to ridicule the Jews. The Jews were dispersed to many parts of the world, without a nation, until, as God’s word foretold (Jeremiah 16:14-15; Ezekiel 37:21-22), in 1948 the nation of Israel was reborn. There has NEVER been a people removed from their land and then restored to that land almost 2,000 years later. And still be known by the same name! This was in exact fulfillment of what God said. Only an all-knowing God can do that. So why is this important? Because, as we will see, you cannot have any end-time prophecies fulfilled without Israel! Israel has now been back in their land for over 77 years.

Number two: The Prophecies of Ezekiel 38-39. Here we see all the nations that will come to battle against Israel at some time in the future, but AFTER Israel believes they are “living safely” in the land (38:8, 11). Again, this is key and why what is happening now is important. We see all those opposing nations in place today, just as God said. That couldn’t have been said even 15 years ago. God’s hand has moved all the pieces into place.

Number three: The Signs of the Time. Just before His crucifixion, Jesus told his disciples what would be the signs of His return in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21. He begins by telling them of the destruction of the Temple. Then He warns of great deceptions, wars and rumors of wars, nations rising against nations, famines, and earthquakes that will be like birth pains happening with increasing frequency and intensity. We certainly have witnessed all those in recent years. People may say we’ve always had those things, but never in conjunction with everything else that we see today.

Number four: The Rebuilding of the Temple in Jerusalem. As I just mentioned, the Jewish Temple was destroyed in 70 A.D. So in order for the Antichrist to sit in the temple and declare himself to be God (2 Thessalonians 2:4), there has to be a new temple constructed for that to happen. The Temple Institute of Jerusalem has been working toward this goal since 1987. You can look them up and see all the progress they have made in this regard. Suffice it to say, for the Abomination of Desolation to happen, a third Jewish temple needs to be built.

Number five: The Prophecies of Daniel in Chapters 2 & 7. Both King Nebuchadnezzar and Daniel were given dreams about the progression of the world kingdoms we see in history that will ultimately be destroyed by “the God of heaven.” They will be replaced with “a kingdom which shall never be destroyed” (Daniel 2:44) in which the Lord, “the Ancient of Days” (Daniel 7:9), will rule the world forever. Don’t forget, these prophecies of Daniel and Ezekiel were written over 2500 years ago.

Number six: The Promise of Jesus to His Disciples. In John 14:1-3, Jesus told his disciples that he had to return to his Father in order to prepare a place for them. But he didn’t end it there. He also said, “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; so that where I am, there you may be also” (v. 3).

We see the account of Jesus taken up into heaven in Acts 1:9. And while the disciples were watching it happen, an angel appeared and reminded them, “This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven” (Acts 1:11). Those who believe in Jesus are waiting for that promised day of His coming in the clouds. And we see much evidence pointing to the fact it may be soon.

Number seven: The Mystery of the Rapture. In 1 Corinthians 15:51-52, Paul reveals something that had been a “mystery” up until then. He was talking about an event that would take place when “we shall all be changed—in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” This change is promised to all who are born-again in Jesus (John 3:3-7).

Paul also wrote to the Christians in Thessalonica and shared how God promises to rescue us from the coming wrath of God (1 Thessalonians 1:10). And that the day will come when all believers, dead or alive, will be “caught up to meet the Lord in the air” (4:13-18) to save us from the time of the tribulation that will suddenly come upon the unbelieving world (5:3, 9-11). Paul knew what he was talking about because after his conversion he was “caught up” into heaven (2 Corinthians 12:2), and the Lord gave to him an “abundance of the revelations” (v. 12) of heaven, which he couldn’t even describe. Believers in Jesus truly have much to look forward to.

THE BIGGEST QUESTION

These are only some of the things God has told us of. So the question is, are you hearing Him? Are you seeing what He wants you to see? I pray that just like Jesus opened the ears of the deaf and the eyes of the blind, He would do the same for anyone who needs to come to Him before it’s too late. Are you ready? Do you know for sure where you are going when this earthly life is finished?

Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). The Lord has given an invitation to us all. It’s an invitation to spend eternity with Him in His everlasting kingdom. But in order to join Him, you have to respond to His invitation. The response God is looking for is belief. Belief in the death of His Son for our sins, His burial, and His resurrection from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). This is the only way a person can be born again as a true child of God (John 1:12). I hope you’ve accepted His invitation.

Paul tells us, “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:9-10). Simply put, if you “believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, you will be saved” (Acts 16:31). And you can have the assurance of this promise from God. John wrote, “These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life” (1 John 5:13).

I pray the Lord will give to anyone reading this the faith they need to believe in God’s only begotten Son, who declared, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die” (John 11:25-26).

So, has His time come? We will see. But regardless of when it is, we will continue watching, just as He told us: “Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming” (Matthew 24:42).

One thing is certain: No one can say He hasn’t warned us.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” – John 3:16-18

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” – Romans 6:23

If you have not accepted His gift of eternal life, you can do that right now. Don’t put Him off. Tomorrow may be too late.

God bless you all!

RAPTURE IN 2025? Could this be the year?

“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.” – 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18

Over the years, many people have speculated as to when the rapture of the church may occur. Some believe the rapture could come on the Feast of Trumpets, making note of the “trumpet call of God” in First Thessalonians 4:16 and beginning the fulfillment of the final 3 Feasts of God. Others believe that the Feast of Trumpets could mark the day of the return of Jesus for the Battle of Armageddon at the end of the 7-year Tribulation.

If that were to happen in the fall of 2032, that is 7 years from 2025. To be more exact, the Feast of Trumpets 2032 falls on September 6th. If you subtract 2520 days from September 6, 2032 (7 Jewish years of 360 days, or two periods of 1260 days for the Tribulation), you land on October 13, 2025. October 13th just happens to be the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles, which is the last of the 7 biblical feasts of 2025.

Many believe the 7-year Tribulation will begin with the signing of a “covenant with many for one week,” or 7 years, in Daniel 9:27. Could the end of the 7 biblical feasts in October of 2025 be the beginning of the 7-year “time of Jacob’s Trouble” (Jeremiah 30:7)?

PASSOVER?

As a side note, using October 13th for the start of the 7-year Tribulation and subtracting 180 days (or 6 Jewish months), you land on April 16th of 2025, this year. This happens to be the Wednesday of Passover week. That is the day that some believe Jesus was crucified in order for Him to rise after 3 days and nights in the tomb, fulfilling the Scriptures.

But why is 6 months in conjunction with the 7 years of Tribulation worth noting?

Here’s why. Before King David ruled over all of Israel, he ruled as king over Judah from Hebron for 7 years and 6 months! One of the meanings of the name Hebron is “friendship.” Is it possible Jesus will call His “friends” (those who have believed in His death, burial, and resurrection for their sins) during Passover to come and be with Him for 7 years and 6 months before we all return with Him to reign in Jerusalem?

Passover 2025 could be a very plausible time for the rapture.

PENTECOST?

And if not during Passover, the Feast of Weeks (or Pentecost) could be a very good time for the catching up of the Lord’s church. Many will point to the Day of Pentecost as when the Holy Spirit arrived to live in the hearts of believers, and the age of grace, or the Church Age, began. Could the Day of Pentecost, June 8, 2025, be the day the Holy Spirit departs from the earth, taking all who have put their faith and trust in Jesus to be “caught up” with Him in the clouds?

Yes, Pentecost 2025 could be a very plausible time for the rapture. We will just have to wait and see.

And here are some other fun facts to ponder! Keep in mind that the number 7 in the Bible symbolizes completeness, perfection, and divine wholeness. It appears in Scripture over 700 times.

  • The nation of Israel turns 77 on May 14, 2025. Seven years later, it will turn 84.
  • 77 can be broken down into 11 periods of 7 years. The number 11 in the Bible is the number that represents imperfection, disorder, incompleteness, and not being aligned with divine purpose.
  • 84 can be broken into 12 periods of 7 years. The number 12 represents perfect government, and along with the number 7, also divine order, completeness, and the totality of God’s purpose.

Could 2025, after 11 seven-year periods, be the beginning of 7 years of disorder, trials, and tribulation for Israel and the world? All leading to the end of the 12th seven-year block of time, Israel’s 84th year, and the beginning of the divine order and perfect government of Jesus Christ as the King of kings, ruling over the whole world?

So is it only a coincidence that in the Temple there were 12 loaves of bread on the Table of Showbread and 7 lamps on the Golden Lampstand? 12 X 7 = 84.

And when Jesus fed the 5,000, there were 12 baskets of food left, and when He fed the 4,000, there were 7 baskets left. 12 x 7 = 84. Jesus even made special note of this to His disciples in Mark 8:19-20.

What about when Anna, the prophetess, saw the baby Jesus in the Temple? She was 84.

And if you multiply the 12 tribes of Israel with the 7 churches in Revelation 2 & 3? Yep, 84!

Another interesting note: if you look up the projected life expectancy for people who live in Israel, that age in 2032, when Israel celebrates its 84th anniversary, is 84.7 years!

One last oddity. Those who study languages know that in the Hebrew language, each of the 22 letters of the alphabet also has a numerical value. For instance, in Hebrew, the name Adam has a numerical value of 45. If you take the first “Adam,” who brought the curse of sin into the world, and the last “Adam,” Jesus (1 Corinthians 15:45), who ends the curse as our atonement for sin, and multiply their numbers, 45 X 45, it equals 2025!

THE TIME IS NEAR

So could 2025 be the year? I think we’d have to say it is very plausible. Jesus said only the Father knows the day or the hour, and regardless of what that may really mean, He didn’t say anything about not knowing the year, or for that matter, the month or the week. And we do know Jesus told us that, among other things, “there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring” (Luke 21:25), and that “when you see these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.” (Luke 21:28).

But even if 2025 is not the year of the Lord’s return, one thing we can know for sure is the promise Jesus gave to His disciples and to all who have trusted in Him as their Savior. “In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.” – John 14:2-3

I pray you have placed your belief in the only One who shed His blood for all your sins and received His gift of eternal life by faith in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. If you have, I look forward to seeing you in the air! God bless!
